Working together

Delivering healthy outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples wouldn’t be possible if it wasn’t for our dedicated team. Working across multiple locations in some of Australia’s most remote areas, they are committed to improving the lives of patients and their families.

Our Committees

Supporting our team

Gidgee Healing’s Board of Directors is supported by three Committees. They provide advice and recommendations to support the governance of the organisation.

Our Logo

Gidgee Healing’s logo was launched early in 2014. It replaced a previous version by Kerwyn Smith, which represented the healing properties of the Gidgee tree and the Gidgee Healing Clinic. Our brief to artist Sid Domic was to emphasise the significance of the Gidgee tree, in particular the strength of the wood which is slow burning and symbolises long life. The artwork Sid produced encapsulates the essence of our country, culture, and family.
