Clinic closure dates:

Mount Isa clinic will be closed on the following public holiday dates:

  • Friday, 22 December – open as per normal clinic hours
  • Monday, 25 December – closed  
  • Tuesday, 26 December – closed  
  • Wednesday, 27 December – open as per normal clinic hours
  • Thursday, 28 December – open as per normal clinic hours
  • Friday, 29 December – open as per normal clinic hours
  • Monday, 1 January – closed  
  • Tuesday, 2 January – open as per normal clinic hours

 

Doomadgee, Normanton and Mornington Island clinics will be closed:

  • Friday, 22 December – open as per normal clinic hours
  • Monday, 25 December – closed  
  • Tuesday, 26 December – closed  
  • Wednesday, 27 December – closed
  • Thursday, 28 December – closed
  • Friday, 29 December – closed
  • Monday, 1 January – closed  
  • Tuesday, 2 January – open as per normal clinic hours

 

For after-hours care for non-emergency situations, please inform your patients to contact their local hospital:

  • Mount Isa Pioneer Clinic – please call Mount Isa Base Hospital on 07 4744 4444
  • For Doomadgee Clinic – please call Doomadgee Rural Hospital on 07 4745 8800
  • For Normanton Clinic – please call Normanton Hospital on 07 4745 2100
  • For Mornington Island Clinic – please call Mornington Island Hospital on 07 4745 7209

  • Family Wellbeing (offices in Mount Isa and Normanton)

    • Wednesday, 27 December – staff member on call
    • Thursday, 28 December – staff member on call
    • Friday, 29 December - staff member on call
    • Tuesday, 2 January – open as per normal hours
  • Normanton Recovery Centre — remains open throughout the holiday period.
